Benno Barends together with Bart van Merode created the lighting design for Wees onzichtbaar. Podium Mozaïek Produced this new performance together with Theater Rast for the first time. Benno and Bart used unusual light fixtures for this performance. Including fluorescent lights and HQI lights. With LED lines, Benno accentuated the edges of the apartment.
About the performance
Wees onzichtbaar is a coming-of-age story that offers an as-yet unknown glimpse into the world of a migrant generation growing up among the illustrious flats of Amsterdam Southeast. A world linked to the mythical Bijlmer, but at the same time recognizable to anyone who grew up in the 1980s and 1990s. A narrative about how all kinds of factors determine your identity.
