Theatermachine was present at CUE 2020. The 17th edition of CUE, a biennial exhibition for events, installation and entertainment technology, took place from 13 to 15 January 2020 in Rotterdam Ahoy. This exhibition offers a comprehensive overview of the latest technical facilities for stage presentations. CUE is the premier event for technicians in the events and performing arts sectors to catch up and discuss new projects.
In cooperation with Share Knowledge Now, Theatermachine was present at the stand to discuss current projects and projects already completed. To share knowledge, using our large network of professionals, is one of the core values of both Theatermachine and Share Knowledge Now. That is why we regularly work together on various projects.
Examples of successful collaborations are our consultancy for the replacement of dimmer racks, lighting control systems and infrastructure for Theater Carré Amsterdam and designing functional and theatrical lighting systems for the revitalisation of Theaterhotel De Oranjerie Roermond. For this project we have created – in close collaboration with GGH Architects – a very detailed 3D visualisation that was presented on the exhibition floor in Rotterdam Ahoy using Virtual Reality media.
