Light – Rotating sun
Because the set extended far into the auditorium and the audience was all around it, it was a challenge to create a lighting design for this. The audience was not to be dazzled and it had to be clearly visible from all sides. Benno Barends solved this by continuously rotating the “sunlight” around the players. With 6 groups of 3 parcans the theaterlights could act like the sun throughout the day and change direction.
