Light and architecture

Theatermachine makes light designs for architectural projects as well as for public spaces. Light gives significance to both architecture and space. We not only see light as merely functional or decorative, but as an inseparable part of the whole. Light determines how we perceive a space. In creating our designs, we believe the view of the beholder to be paramount.

By being involved early on in the process, it is possible to fully integrate the light in the project as a whole. We find it important to be deeply involved during the final phase, in which the light is focused and programmed. This allows us to achieve high precision in our light images.

Our background in theatre ensures we can be distinctive in our designs, both static and dynamic.
